This quote has a lot of meaning for me because it was one of my dad’s favorites. He instilled in me the importance of taking chances and following your dreams and he also fed my insatiable wanderlust and curiosity of the world. Mark Twain’s quote really captures all of that. So much so that I even used a version of it as the name of my first travel blog.
